The second game was shit on are part and we deserved too lose because we did not play well period!Ĥ) Just too set the record straight it was great too see Good Players battling it out and playing in a high end game. Sorry about the confusion!Ģ) The group playing against 4Chan was George's World, FYI and it was on IRISH RAGE server as are server's are down right now.ģ) Too 4Chan good game you won fair and square and the bragging rights belong too you! I had a lot of fun like most on my team on the First Game it was fun and nice come back by you guys at the end. Its been a while since we had a discussion about Wargame and its good too see us talking about the game play!!!!!!ġ) The games played had nothing to do with the old RDDT group as we split about a month ago into two group one being George's World and the other is just so everything is clear. Reddit tends to use teamwork to overcome any deficiencies in deck and skill, but this means when they're faced with an opponent that is better than them, they will collapse. IIRC, 4chan is made up of stronger individual team players, so they can and will independently move up their flanks. Jungle Law is again, too small a map for 10v10. The skills and deck selections don't add up. Reddit never plays big 10v10 maps like Gjoll or Asgard, they play small maps with more players, like a 10v10 on Gunboat Diplomacy. In the endgame 4chan managed to overwhelm Echo on right to seal their victory. 4chan gets center quickly (Golf), and held it for entire game, despite relentless assaults from Reddit. Second game was 500 pts conquest on Jungle LAW.Reddit team takes the lead in pts by a large margin, they have a firm hold on center, but because they neglicted flanks they get overwhelmed and 4chan team finally wins quickly First game was 750 pts conquest on Gjoll, 4chan as REDFOR, Reddit as BLUFOR.This is a fan-run community, we are not affiliated with the creators of the Wargame Series. Check out /r/wargamebootcamp Game Guides I high y suggest watching round replays to figure things out.Everything you need to know about the Wargame series. Tanks, you want to have heavy tanks in your deck, along with lighter cheaper tanks that you can cause for fire support. Gun AA can also make good fire support tearing inf and transport alike. While machine gun AA are less range, they can take down many helos in a quick succession and if they miss, they got 1000 more bullets to try again>Īlso if a rocket AA misses their rocket, the helo can isn't stunned and can fire back(just food for thought). Often decent AA has a range of 2800, and some AA units have a 3000m+ range HOWEVER these units are not the best. The more expensive helos often have ranges of 2800m rockets, meaning they are a threat to anything from 2800 meters aside inf rocket pods not withstanding. You also want AA to back up the inf, what AA inf isn't bad can easily be hidden they often are short range. Even 5 point transports should have machine guns that can out range inf rpgs(which typically are 500-700m). They are meant to storm in numbers and tank damage for your other units. etc).Įvery deck needs line inf, cheap inf, the line inf + transport should come out to 15 or 20 points a pop. What you need, in order to master this game is combine arms(you need to depoly inf with AA, armor.
